About Us
Jason & Karen
Jason and Karen have been in the hospitality industry for the best part of 30 years including owning 3 Motels over a 15 year period.
They moved back to Warwick in 2020 and purchased their home which is just around the corner in Wood Street.
They have 3 adult children and a menagerie of cats, dogs and birds.
In 2022 Jason & Karen purchased Steele's Bakery Café on Fitzroy Street for their baker son Bayley and his partner Jess to run.
This business continues to grow day after day and supplies all your expected bakery treats, pies, sausage rolls, bread, rolls, cakes, sandwiches, plus great coffee to go.
In 2023 Jason & Karen purchased Area 51, Pitstop Lodge and Pitstop Cottage to continue to provide good quality accommodation in the local area.
Both Jason and Karen have full time jobs that keep them very busy so please be understanding if it takes a minute for them to answer your call.
Jason works as a Commercial Real Estate Broker with Resort Brokers Asia Pacific again highlighting their ability to understand guests requirements and what makes a property comfortable to stay at. Karen works in the Aged Care Sector bringing out her strong compassionate side.
